Folder Security

Folder access and permission management can be done through the Security tab. You can access security settings by right-clicking on the folder or selecting the folder and then clicking Open from the top menu. From here, users and groups can be assigned access permissions for the folder.

• Permission Management: Users and groups who can access the folder can be defined. Permissions can be granted to a user or group with the Allow or Deny options.

• Profile: A specific profile form (metadata) can be defined for the folder and edited when necessary. The form under the Metadata heading allows the modification of additional information for the folder.

• Inherit from Parent: By default, folders inherit all settings from their parent directory. However, the Inherit from Parent option can be unchecked to configure custom security settings for the folder.

With these processes, the folder's features, security, and tags can be customized, making it easier to manage the folder's content efficiently.
